Service Planning Methodology©

Currently, the planning process for many Client programs or projects does not provide a consistent, inclusive approach for gathering and prioritizing stakeholder requirements; nor do many processes provide for ongoing systems or program “stewardship” to assure continued optimization of newly commissioned systems. This need for inclusive requirements gathering and lifecycle-stewardship is crucial to insure the on going return-on-investment of the new system or program. This stewardship insures:
  • Effective delivery of systems maintenance, including accurate updates to customer records, changes, adds/deletes, etc.;
  • Implementation of “fine-tuning” feedback from Focus/User Groups, etc.;
  • Continued input into future planning, release roadmap, and budgeting cycles for required/desired enhancements.
R. McAnally & Associates, LLC (RMA) has implemented this comprehensive Service Planning Methodology©, the goal of which is to assure that all eligible program planning and development activities effectively deliver relevant functionality to the Client’s targeted stakeholders.

This Methodology has been assembled to insure that all targeted program planning activities are:

  • Inclusive - encompassing all relevant Stakeholder groups;
  • Focused - prioritized, high-value-add functionality;
  • Dynamic - inclusive planning process provides synergistic solutions;
  • Cyclical - Methodology is identified upfront as iterative and on-going, delivering “continual improvement”;
  • Accelerating - targeted to deliver market-leading capabilities
RMA's Service Planning Methodology© provides focused, coordinated requirements gathering, prioritization, approval and coordination, for service-affecting programs.  This Methodology is intended to directly overlay and mesh with the Client’s existing Project Management processes, procedures, workflows and templates.  Significant effort has been expended to insure that this Service Planning Methodology is directly supportive of the Client’s program/project framework, and that at all stages of this Methodology forms and documents developed for use within the Client’s framework are utilized where appropriate.

RMA has developed this Service Planning Methodology© to provide an overlay framework.  This framework insures all Client program planning and development activities effectively deliver relevant functionality to targeted stakeholders.  This Methodology clearly defines the processes and workflows to be applied during the planning, development, release, and operations of systems and programs, to deliver improved capability and effectiveness.  Adopting and implementing this Methodology within the Client’s program environment provides a consistent, inclusive approach for gathering and prioritizing stakeholder requirements, and equally important, provides for ongoing systems and program lifecycle “stewardship”, to assure continued optimization of newly commissioned systems and programs.
